Film Screening and Discussion with Writer and Creator Anna Winger
23.01.2020Germany in the 80s - a time of extreme political tensions that was both colorful and consumer-friendly. Wall deaths and a double NATO decision dominated the headlines, while the brand new Walkman played songs by Nena and other representatives of the Neue Deutsche Welle. Anna Winger's German-language television series takes you back to this complex time. Her three-part series from Germany 83, Germany 86 and the soon to be broadcast Germany 89 is highly praised by critics.
