Thomas Chatterton Williams is a Contributing Writer at the New York Times Magazine as well as a weekly columnist and Contributing Editor at the American Scholar. His work also appears in publications such as the New Yorker, the New York Times, Harper's, the London Review of Books, Vanity Fair, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, Le Monde, Lui, the New Republic, the Atlantic, and n+1. The author of Losing My Cool (Penguin Press, 2010), is the Fall 2018 Writer in Residence at the Schreibzentrum / Writing Center der JMU and Siebold Collegium Institute for Advanced Studies (SCIAS) of the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg.
