Research Interests
I am interested in questions of community building and the role of literature in negotiating community, including processes of dehumanization, marginalization, and alienation, in particular in post-45 U.S. American literatures and ancient Greek tragedy. My further fields of interest include the environmental humanities and posthumanism as well as film, television and media studies.
