Lecture Series "Reading in the Classroom, Learning for the World"
Nicole Maruo-Schröder has been a professor of Cultural Studies (with a focus on American Studies) at the University of Koblenz-Landau since 2013. Her research projects include material culture studies and literature (with a focus on nineteenth-century America), food studies, travel writing as well as dystopian and apocalyptic narratives. Her most recent publications include co-edited volumes on justice in American visual culture, on young adult dystopian literature, on narrative and space, and on literature and consumption in 19th-century American literature.
